Regular, intensive ventilation - shock ventilation For a healthy bedroom temperature, you should definitely ventilate enough. In order for an air exchange to take place, it is recommended to open the window wide in the morning after getting up and in the evening before bedtime for 20 to 25 minutes. This allows the old air to be exchanged with fresh air. In order to guarantee air exchange, you can create a passage by opening several windows. Then your entire living area is ventilated directly. Just make sure that you adjust the ventilation time of the corresponding season. For example, if you heat in winter, a shock ventilation time of between five and ten minutes is sufficient to achieve the perfect sleeping climate. Heating can be installed during ventilation. The temperature in the bedroom should be between 16 °C and 20 °C, just as in summer. More tips for a good night's sleep in winter can be found in one of our blog posts"Tips for a good night's sleep during the cold season". Avoid excessive heating For a pleasant sleeping environment in your bedroom, you should avoid excessive heating of the room. The dry heating air ensures a low humidity, which does not support us in a restful sleep. It is even better to skip the heating completely. This not only saves heating costs, but also ensures a comfortable sleeping environment in your bedroom. If the actual temperature differs from the recommended room temperature, you can of course compensate for this difference by heating the room. Ensure sufficient air circulation To ensure sufficient air circulation inside your bedroom, make sure that the mattress can breathe. So there should be enough space under your bed for an air exchange. With our box spring beds, the air can circulate well through the springs, because spring mattresses in principle ensure a much better air exchange than e.g. pure cold https://bunk-beds-microfiber.page.tl foam mattresses. Just as important for the perfect sleeping climate is the distance of your Furniture to the walls. If the air cannot circulate due to too close distances, condensation quickly forms in the gaps, which is among other things responsible for the formation of mold. With a hygrometer, you can also measure and keep an eye on the humidity and temperature in your room.
